They would definitely like to release it before the Nintendo Switch is released, but they cannot promise anything at the moment. Sneaky Ninja didnt sneak past Kickstarter the game is tiptoeing to the Wii U eShop: The Sneaky Ninja Kickstarter campaign has raised over 10,000, meaning a Wii U version of the stealth platformer. ![]() You can defeat your rival Samurai enemies by jumping. Right now, Starfall Studios is targeting an Eearly February release on PC, with the Wii U version to follow soon after. According to the Sneaky Ninja Kickstarter page, the game plans to combine classic platforming action with plenty of stealth game elements. ![]() But as you can imagine, it’s a bit too early for Starfall Studios to start thinking about that… If you’re wondering whether Sneaky Ninja could still land on the Nintendo Switch, the answer is… maybe. They consider that, even if Sneaky Ninja was to sell 0 additional copy (besides those for backers), it would definitely be worth it. ![]() They explain that, while they understand why others have moved their projects to the Nintendo Switch (probably the best choice, business-wise), they have made players wait too long for Sneaky Ninja to simply cancel it on Wii U. Naturally, that doesn’t mean that all upcoming indie projects previously announced for the Wii U are going to be moved to the Nintendo Switch… certainly not Sneaky Ninja! In the latest Kickstarter udpate for the game, Starfall Studios confirms that Sneaky Ninja is indeed going to be released on Wii U, as planned. They were not the first, and will most certainly not be the last. That’s the case of Stardew Valley and Yooka-Laylee, for example. In the past few weeks, a few games previously announced for the Wii U were cancelled for that platform, to be replaced by a Nintendo Switch version.
